Whether you’re looking to relax, reconnect with yourself, or enjoy a fragrant, comforting drink, this herbal tea blend is the perfect companion. Brew a cup, inhale the steam, and let chamomile, rose, peppermint, and lavender work their quiet magic.

This is the tea I drink nearly every day after dinner. It is bright, refreshing, yet calming, and contains carminative herbs (meaning they are great for digestion). A combination of fragrant culinary lavender, peppermint, marshmallow root, chamomile, and rose works beautifully to calm the digestive system after a meal and help you sleep.
Each ingredient plays a unique role, and together they create a relaxing, heart-warming tea that feels like a deep breath in a cup.

Why This Blend Works
Chamomile – The ultimate relaxer
Chamomile has long been treasured for its calming effects. Known for easing stress and promoting better sleep, it forms the foundation of this blend. Its soft, apple-like aroma brings immediate comfort with every sip.
Rose Petals – Gentle emotional balance
Dried rose petals add a delicate floral sweetness and are often used in herbalism to support emotional well-being. They offer a sense of gentle uplift—perfect for unwinding after a long day.
Peppermint – Cooling clarity
Peppermint brings brightness and clarity, helping soothe digestion and clear the mind. Its refreshing aroma complements the florals beautifully while preventing the blend from becoming too heavy. It’s also ideal for settling the stomach and preparing you for rest.
Lavender – Aromatic tranquility
Just a pinch of lavender elevates the tea with its unmistakable scent. Lavender helps promote relaxation and reduce tension, making it a perfect addition to evening tea rituals.
Marshmellow root - Soothing comfort
Add marshmallow root to any tea blend for soothing an upset stomach, calming coughs and reducing inflammation. It works particularly well with drying herbs, to counter their properties.

See recipe card for quantities.
Instructions
- Mix all the ingredients in a tea kettle or carafe.
- Pour 14 ounces of hot water (just below boiling) over the herbs.
- Steep for 5–7 minutes, but ideally 15.
- Strain, pour into your favorite mug, and enjoy slowly.

Hint: The longer you steep the tea, the better the taste. If you only have 5-7 minutes, that's fine, but if you have a carafe or can cover your tea, 15 minutes is ideal.
