Sit back, and relax with this refreshing dragonfruit hibiscus rose iced latte, perfect for a warm spring or summer day.
When it comes to plant milk drinks, moon milk is my go-to. Everything from my calming cardamom moon milk, to chamomile cinnamon moon milk latte, anti-inflammatory turmeric latte makes its way into the rotation.
But when the temperatures warm up, a nice refreshing vegan iced latte is quite satisfying, especially when it has a beautiful pink color, all thanks to some favorites like hibiscus, rose, and dragonfruit powder. It's a nice compliment to my staple butterfly pea flower iced latte, with its magical blue hues.
The nice thing about this hibiscus rose latte is that it has two variations. You can make the hibiscus rose infusion first and get the added botanical benefits, or use rose water and dragonfruit and skip the herbs entirely. Either way, you'll end up with a delicious dragonfruit latte.

Hibiscus Benefits
I've written quite a bit in this post about the benefits of hibiscus. It is truly one of the most valuable herbs and one that I use nearly every day.
Hibiscus benefits include helping to balance blood sugar, gut health, and weight loss and has a positive effect on blood pressure. And well, it is downright beautiful!
Benefits of Rose Petals
Rose is another herb I've written about in this Calming Sweet Dreams Herbal Tea post. Not only do rose petals add beautiful color and flavor to this vegan iced latte, but come with many benefits, including easing period cramps, supporting digestion, calming the nervous system, as well as helping improve skin health.
Dragonfruit Benefits
Dragonfruit has an impressive anti-oxidant profile, fiber content, and stunning color. So it just needed to be in this latte.

Dragonfruit powder - Dragonfruit powder can be ordered online as I've not seen it in stores.
Rose water - Rose water is a must in this drink as it adds a beautiful rose flavor.
Almond milk - While I prefer almond milk because of its subtle flavor, any other plant milk you enjoy works.

Water - you need it for infusing the herbs.
Honey or maple syrup (optional)

Step 3. Blend and serve over ice.

See recipe card for full details.
Variations
- Make it warm - you can easily make this latte a warm drink by heating the milk.
- Hibiscus and rose - if you don't have these herbs but only have dragonfruit powder, that's okay. Option 2 in the recipe card will give you the details.
- Almond milk - while I prefer vanilla-flavored unsweetened almond milk, you can use whatever plant milk you prefer.
FAQs
You most certainly can, though I like to make an infusion with water before adding it to the milk. This pulls more nutrients from the herbs once they have had time to infuse in water.
You'll have a beautiful color and flavor directly from the hibiscus and rose infusion but the dragonfruit adds fiber and more color, but you can certainly skip it.
Yes, if you don't add any sweetener to the dragonfruit hibiscus latte it will be low-carb. If you want to make it keto, add 2 teaspoon of coconut oil.
Absolutely! If you'd rather have a warm version, you can simmer the milk, add all the ingredients as you would in the second step, and enjoy it warm.
